Wellness-based virtual therapy focuses on the client’s 8-dimensions of wellness as they pertain to wants, needs, and goals. It is a strength-based and culturally considerate approach to therapy that focuses on treating underlying causes of symptoms and examining the person’s well-being from a holistic perspective. Holistic forms of therapy allow room for healing that addresses issues and recognizes factors from a mental, emotional, and spiritual standpoint, as well as the client’s physical health.

What does virtual therapy with me look like?

1. Incorporation of Mindfulness and Wellness. The client learns the fundamentals of how to heal. We must learn the basics of caring for ourselves before we can create change internally.

2. Encouragement and Validation of your experiences. What is it like to be you? Do you feel comfortable speaking with me or someone else about your presenting concerns?

3. Establish support and create solutions with the client to build sustainability. If you can not implement what you learn in therapy outside of therapy, I am not doing you a service!

4. Continue to show up for yourself in many ways! The work is not done after you leave the therapy room! Create art, join support groups, and incorporate wellness in totality. In other words, continue to participate in your healing! I am here to support you.

5. Termination. We are in everyone’s life for a season, if our season has come to an end, I will explore that with you and support your transitions as best as I can.

All sessions are completed virtually and by appointment only. Please know that Tele-therapy will be a different quality of services than in-person sessions. It will also be challenging to conduct art as therapy this way! What will be important is that you make efforts to access a quiet space free of distractions and other individuals.

Wellness Based Individual Therapy is a 60-minute individual therapy session. The client is treated on a one-on-one basis and can develop a long-lasting therapeutic relationship! Client documentation and communication methods are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant portal called Theranest.

Wellness Based Couples Therapy is a 60-90 minute session. The couple is supported as a group and also meets individually with me to enhance the authenticity of each partner. Client documentation and communication methods are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant portal called Theranest.

Yes, there is a cancellation policy.


Wellness Based-Therapy sessions are scheduled in advance and are a time reserved exclusively for our clients. Without adequate notice, we cannot fill the time slot with another client, a client on the waitlist, or a client with a clinical emergency.  $65 will be charged when you miss or cancel an appointment without giving 24 hours of advanced notice.
