Wellness Based Individual Therapy is focused on the client’s 8-dimensions of wellness as they pertain to wants, needs, and goals. A strength-based and culturally considerate approach to therapy. I incorporate my expertise in wellness, creativity, psychology, and mindfulness to help create positive growth and internal change.

What does therapy with me look like?

1. Incorporation of Mindfulness and Wellness within the client to learn the fundamentals of how to heal. We must learn the basics of caring for ourselves before we can create change internally.
2. Encouragement and Validation of your experiences. What is it like to be you? Do you feel comfortable speaking with me or someone else about your presenting concerns?
3. Establish support and create solutions with the client to build sustainability. If you can not implement what you learn in therapy outside of therapy, I am not doing my job!
4. Continue to show up for yourself in many ways! The work is not done after you leave the therapy room! Create art, join support groups, incorporate wellness in totality. In other words, continue to participate in your healing! I am here to support you.
5. Termination. We are in everyone’s life for a season, if our season has come to an end, I will explore that with you and support your transitions as best as I can.
All sessions are completed virtually and by appointment only. Please know that Tele-therapy will be a different quality of services than in-person sessions. It will also be challenging to conduct art therapy this way! What will be important is that you make efforts to access a quiet space free of distractions and other individuals.

Yes, there is a cancellation policy.
Intentional Simplicity: Wellness Therapy sessions are scheduled in advance and are a time reserved exclusively for our clients. When a session is canceled without adequate notice, we are unable to fill this time slot by offering it to another current client, a client on the waitlist, or a client with a clinical emergency.
A fee of $65 will be charged when you miss or cancel an appointment without giving 24 hours advanced notice. You can cancel your appointment by calling, texting, or emailing intentionalsimplicityco@gmail.com or myself at 412-294-8708.
